Building the future

JCI (Junior Chamber International) is a global organisation for young people between the ages of 18 and 40 who want to develop as leaders and contribute to society. In the Dutch Caribbean, chapters are active on Curaçao, Sint Maarten and Bonaire. Local chapters, such as JCI IOBA, JCI CLIC, JCI Willemstad and JCI YUB, organise trainings, projects and events that inspire young people to make an impact.

Leading and connecting

At Qredits Curaçao, we witness up close what our organisation stands for, thanks in part to our colleague Richards Martina – Marketing, Training & Events Coordinator – who was recently appointed as National President 2025 of JCI Dutch Caribbean.

This remarkable role offers Richards the opportunity to further develop his leadership skills and express his passion for social engagement even more powerfully. His commitment to positive change aligns perfectly with Qredits’ mission: empowering, connecting and supporting people on their path to successful entrepreneurship.

Time for conscious choices

In 2022, JCI internationally launched the initiative Human Duties for Leaders, a call to leaders around the world to uphold six fundamental responsibilities, such as:

  • Protect the life and dignity of others
  • Serve humanity
  • Be a voice for justice
  • Think sustainably for future generations
  • Educate yourself and others
  • Lead with respect and integrity

Qredits Curaçao supports initiatives like these that help young people combine leadership with social engagement.

Join in building a future with impact

  • Social: Encourages service and social responsibility.
  • Personal: Grow as an individual and leader.
  • Professional: Build leadership on values and vision.
  • Connecting: Young people across islands build the future together.
